Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of data that Signal Eight may process when you use Meta or WhatsApp integrations, including using WhatsApp as an interface to communicate with the Signal Eight CRM and AI assistant.

These instructions are provided for Meta's app dashboard data deletion requirement. For more information about how Signal Eight handles personal data generally, please see our Privacy Policy.


How to Request Deletion

Email us at hello@signaleight.ai with the subject line Meta Data Deletion Request. To help us find the relevant records, please include:

  • Your name and contact email.
  • Your Signal Eight workspace or company name, if applicable.
  • The WhatsApp phone number or Meta account connected to the request.
  • A short description of what you want deleted, such as WhatsApp chat interface data, connected Meta identifiers, or related integration records.

We may ask for reasonable information to verify that you are authorised to make the request before deleting or anonymising data.


What We Delete

After verification, we will delete or anonymise applicable data that we control and that is associated with your Meta or WhatsApp integration, such as stored integration identifiers, message-interface records, access tokens, and related technical logs where deletion is appropriate.

CRM records created or updated inside a Signal Eight workspace may be controlled by the workspace owner or administrator. If the request relates to business records in a workspace, we may direct you to the relevant workspace administrator or process the request with their involvement.


What May Be Retained

We may retain limited information where necessary for legal, security, billing, audit, backup, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes. If retained information is no longer needed in identifiable form, we will delete or anonymise it where reasonably practicable.


Revoking Meta Access

If you connected Signal Eight through Meta, Facebook, or WhatsApp settings, you may also be able to revoke access from your Meta or Facebook account settings. Removing access stops future access through that connection, but it may not delete information already stored by Signal Eight. To delete stored information, please use the request process above.


Timing and Contact

We aim to process verified deletion requests as soon as reasonably practicable, normally within 30 days. If a request is complex or we need more information, we will contact you.
